7-Day Tanzania Lodge Safari - Mid-range

Today You will start your 6-Day Tanzania Lodge Safari, two-hour trip to Tarangire National Park after breakfast. You will pass by stunning Maasai villages and the vast plain along the way, which have come to symbolize Tanzania.
Large herds of elephants frequently pass through the Tarangire River, along with other animals like zebras, wildebeest, antelopes, and warthogs, known as Pumba in the well-known Lion King movie, which was partially filmed in the vast Serengeti plains. The Tarangire River is a must-see on your bucket list.

A picnic lunch overlooking the Tarangire River is a wonderful way to take it all in.
Later, go further into the wilderness for a chance to view lions, leopards, Cape buffalo, and a wide variety of antelopes. And if you’re lucky, you might even see some threatened species, like the Great Kudu and the Fringe-Eared Oryx.

We will eat an early breakfast because we have a full day of adventure ahead of us. We will travel from Arusha to Serengeti National Park through Ngorongoro crater while taking a game drive along the way. When you get in Serengeti, you will be astounded by a breathtaking vista as you take in a picnic lunch on a little hill in a generally flat area.

The Serengeti’s boundless plains can now be explored after lunch at the picnic spot. The variety of creatures that roam this famous savanna terrain in Africa will astound you.
Depending on the standard of lodging required, for supper and overnight in the Serengeti National Park.

Central Serengeti National Park is the main destination.

Visit Serengeti National Park early in the morning, then return for breakfast and some downtime. Later, set out for a full-day game drive once more with a picnic lunch in tow. After dinner, go back to your lodging to spend the night.

The Nile crocodile, leopard tortoise, serrated hinged terrapin, rainbow agama, Nile monitor, chameleon, African python, black mamba, black-necked spitting cobra, and puff adder are among the reptiles found in Serengeti National Park.

In order to experience one of the finest sunrises you’ll ever see and go on an early morning game drive (when the animals are more active), we advise getting up extremely early on this day. We return to the camp for a satisfying lunch following the wildlife drive, and from there we’ll travel to Ngorongoro, the eighth wonder of the natural world. The crater is 102 square miles in size, has walls that are 2000 feet tall, and is home to nearly all of the East African native Animal species.

One of the few places on the entire continent where you can see a Black Rhino is here. A river, many marshes, a soda lake with a large number of flamingos, a forest, and wide plains can all be found in the crater. It is renowned for having the largest elephants in the world with enormous tusks. The Ngorongoro Crater is undoubtedly a natural wonder.

For an amazing morning of wildlife viewing in one of the most beautiful sites on earth, we will start the day extremely early and descend into the crater floor. There will be time for a picnic lunch next to the lovely Hippo Lake after the wildlife drive. After lunch, we will have some time for a quick game drive before leaving the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and traveling to Arusha by ascending the crater. Although we are flexible in case there is a flight to catch or another circumstance, we anticipate returning to Mto wa Mbu around 5 pm. at TWIGA LODGE & cAMPSITE

You’ll leave from your accommodation towards Manyara National Park after breakfast. Following a brief overview of the Market, you will travel to Lake Manyara National Park, where tree-climbing lions beg for pictures.
Since Lake Manyara is a birding destination, bird lovers will find it to be an incredible treat with a huge diversity of species on exhibit. You will not only be amazed but also surprised by big flocks of flamingos and many other varieties of birds. The park has some of the best game views in the world and is truly a photographer’s playground.
After supper, you’ll make your way back to your Arusha lodging of choice for a restful night’s sleep.
